Booking + Cost

  • Availability is on a first-come-first-served basis, so the early bird gets the mirror! Most couples book their mirror 3โ€“6 months in advance.

If youโ€™re getting married in the busiest months (Mayโ€“June, Septemberโ€“October), try to book even earlier โ€” the schedule gets full early!

    BOOK NOW ยป

  • Mirror project minimums are $250, with or without a rental.

Welcome sign mirrors start at $250, with or without a rental.

Mirror seating charts start at $500, with or without rental. A 100 person seating chart with mirror rental starts at $575.

Mirror rentals range from $25 to $150. Easel rentals are $10/ea. Design and production is additional and will be quoted based on project specifications.

  • In addition to any rentals (e.g., mirror(s) + easel(s)) you book, your mirror sign order includes:

โœด๏ธŽ One design draft: Design consists of handlettering โ€œwelcome to the wedding of X and X / [date]โ€ or comparable for welcome signs, headline + seating assignments for seating charts, and text for other pieces (illustrations are extra)

โœด๏ธŽ The approved design applied to the mirror, either handwritten in white or applied in removable white vinyl based on my recommendation

โœด๏ธŽ Mirror prepped for transport in moving blankets

  • Within a week of receiving the form, Iโ€™ll confirm availability of your date and mirror selection (if relevant) and send a quote.

After the contract is signed and the initial invoice is paid, Iโ€™ll be in touch with a project timeline, which will outline due dates for copy, seating assignments, design drafts and approvals, and mirror hand-off, as applicable.

Renting + Buying Mirrors

  • Sure do! I have a selection of gold-framed mirrors in a range of sizes, good for signage like welcome messaging, wedding programs and schedules, seating charts, bar menus, and quotes. You can see most of the available mirrors below.

For each rental, youโ€™ll be charged a security deposit before the mirror is handed over. If a mirror is broken or damaged beyond usability, the deposit is forfeited.

All mirrors are provided wrapped in moving blankets for protection from scratches, and should be returned in the moving blankets to avoid damage.

  • Your mirror will be available to you the week of your wedding, and the rental lasts 5 days. Typically, clients have the mirror from Thursday through Monday for a Saturday wedding.

If you need the mirror for a longer time period, it can be arranged! Extra fees may apply.

  • Yes! Before confirming and getting into the contract, we just have to discuss measurements to make sure the mirror you want to use will fit the messaging you want displayed.

  • Iโ€™ll need your mirror 2 weeks prior to your wedding, and it will be ready for you the week of your wedding.

I cannot store your mirror for longer than 3 weeks.

  • No. You should take receipt of your new mirror first and make sure itโ€™s what you want โ€” and not broken!

  • Yes! For 85% of the mirrors, the art is drawn directly onto the mirror and can be removed with rubbing alcohol and a cloth. Any especially stubborn spots can be further cleaned with a straight-edge razor.

For the other 15%, the art is applied to the mirror in removable vinyl. Simply peel it off!

Design + Process

  • Yes! Once you provide your preferred copy and/or including seating assignments for the mirror, I will draft a design and send to you for approval.

  • Of course! Iโ€™ll provide a due date for copy and seating assignments along with guidelines/suggestions depending on the type of sign. When the copy due date comes around, let me know if you have something specific youโ€™d like written; otherwise, tell me the gist and Iโ€™ll provide the copy.

  • For the best, most seamless guest experience, I always recommend โ€” and default to โ€” alphabetizing guests by last name. Based on the number of guests and how they best fit on the mirror, Iโ€™ll add line space between letter sections, and possibly letter headings.

  • Seating assignments must be provided two weeks before mirror delivery โ€” so generally about three weeks before your wedding.

Seating assignments should be provided as an editable spreadsheet that can be opened in Google Sheets (Excel and CSV files work!). Image files do not work.

The spreadsheet should be organized with each guestโ€™s name written exactly as youโ€™d like it to appear on the mirror. Consider titles (e.g. Mrs., Dr., etc.), generational suffixes (e.g. Sr., Jr., etc.), and middle names, if youโ€™d like to include any of those. Be specific with nicknames vs. full names (I wonโ€™t change a โ€œKateโ€ to a โ€œKatherineโ€!), and donโ€™t forget diacritics/accent marks. Organize all information into columns โ€” at a minimum: First Name, Last Name, Table Number.

  • You can provide seating chart changes up until you approve the draft. Once a draft is approved, no changes are guaranteed.

Transport + Set-Up

  • I offer drop-off the week of your wedding, and pick-up the week after, within central and north Jersey, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. Price varies based on distance.

Youโ€™re welcome to pick-up (and return) rentals from my place in West Orange, NJ, for free.

  • Iโ€™ll provide the mirrors wrapped in moving blankets for protection from scratches. The very best way to transport them is kept in the moving blankets, and positioned flat in a vehicle with nothing on top of them, and secured to prevent clanging around.

  • Most mirrors I offer fit in any size car. The largest mirrors fit in small SUVs and larger vehicles.

I can lift all of the mirrors I offer by myself โ€” but the largest is tough and I much prefer carrying it with someone else. That one takes two people to get into a car! The rest are pretty easily handled by most individuals.

  • No, theyโ€™re too big and too fragile.

  • I will clean the mirror before wrapping in moving blankets for transport, but they may get fingerprints on them as you unwrap them and prepare them for display. To clean, use a soft cloth. If you need to use a solvent, Windex or any other non-alcohol based window cleaner will work fine!

  • The largest mirrors I offer for rent should be leaned against something sturdy, preferably a wall. If there wonโ€™t be a wall to lean the mirror on (which may be the case if you are having a tented wedding, for example), you can rent a floor easel from me โ€” Iโ€™ve made sure the easels I have can handle the weight and dimensions of the mirrors I offer!

Other mirrors should be displayed on sturdy floor- or tabletop-easels.

I have easels available for rent ($10/ea) suitable for all mirrors I offer.
